چکیده
Abstract Several approaches have been used to reduce the accumulation of heavy metals in aqueous solutions, including adsorption surface agricultural waste. Batch studies performed this study explore Fe 2+ , Mn on olive pomace (OP), and moringa seed husk (MSH). Fourier transform infrared scanning electron microscopy also characterized prepared adsorbent. were performed, effects adsorbent chemical structure, dosage, pH, contact time, initial ion concentration investigated ions sorption mechanism order maximize removal efficiency Mn. It was shown that percentage 83% 91%, respectively, at optimum pH 5 time 120 min g OP. Although 80.5% 93%, MSH. The pseudo-second-order model followed by kinetics OP MSH, Langmuir worked well with isotherms. Based their adsorption/desorption processes, MSH adsorbents may be regenerated DI water more than five times. overall power for 10.406 10.460 mg/g, 10.28 11.641 mg/g respectively.

Extraction Heavy Metals from Contaminated Water Using Chelating Agents
Water pollution caused by toxic elements is one of the most important environmental problems in the world. Heavy metals are toxic to human and dangerous for the environment. The objectives of this study were: the effects of chelating agents on heavy metals extraction from polluted water were carried out to examine. In different concentrations : 0.01, 0.05, 0.1 mg/l of Chelating agents: Ethylene...

Surface water contains a large number of pollutants, particularly human pathogens, organic toxicants and heavy metals. Due to the toxic nature of heavy metals towards marine organisms, its removal from the environment has been a growing issue. The biosorption of heavy metal ions from surface water using fish scales has emerged as an environmentally friendly technique. This study assessed the de...

متن کاملAdsorption of heavy metals using marine algae
The discharge of heavy metals into aquatic ecosystem has become a matter of concern in South Africa over the last few decades. These pollutants are introduced into the aquatic systems significantly as a result of various industrial operations. Conventional methods for metal removal such as ion exchange, reverse osmosis, etc. have proven to be expensive. Due to the increasing awareness of ecolog...
